Days when I can barely get up off the couch are my least favorite days. I don't want to go anywhere or eat anything; I just want to sleep. Exhausted physically, emotionally, mentally, I struggle to find the blessings that surround me, but they are there.
Staying home today means:
Chatting with my best college friend without distraction
Spending time reading a new devotional
Cooking delicious food so that I can be excited about eating something and serve a friend
Enjoying the rainy breeze as it wafts through my house
Days like today mean I find pleasure in smaller things. Days like today mean I have to look a little harder to find God in my circumstances, but I am thankful that He's always there.
