A wise woman said something to me recently that gave me great comfort. I expressed my uncertainty about my future, and she responded, "There is no punishment for mistakes made while earnestly seeking the Lord."
I can't tell you what a relief it is to know that, even when I make mistakes, if I make them in the pursuit of the Lord, there is nothing to be ashamed of. I needn't fear punishment when I am actively attempting to walk according to God's will.
I have faith that, as I commit my way to Him, He will guide me. I have faith that the promptings of the Spirit will bear good fruit in me, so long as I keep my eyes fixed on the Lord.
Are you confident that the Lord will lead you?

This is a great piece of advice! I think people think God is just waiting for us to screw up or something! We can't really make a "mistake" if we truly seek Him. Thank God!!
